VIDEO OF 2012 ANNIE AWARDS - Børge wins Winsor McCay award!
Award Ceremony for Børge is from 39:20 - 46:15. A huge "THANK YOU!" goes to Frank Gladstone, Josh Gladstone and Jerry Beck for editing and making the video available, and of course also to Jamie Kezlarian Bolio, Tom Sito and all other wonderful people at ASIFA Hollywood. Another big "THANK YOU" for NIAF, in particular Ton Crone and EYE in Holland, for making it possible for Børge's daughter Anne-Mieke to travel to Hollywood to be Børge's voice and receive the award in his stead.

FEBRUARY 1, 2012 - DEVASTATING NEWS - BORGE'S HOUSE BURNED DOWN
This afternoon a brutal fire laid the house of my dear parents - Borge and Joanika Ring - to ashes. We're all devastated. You can find more detailed information in the article on the A-film blog. The good news is that Borge and Joanika are not injured. But everything else is gone... Borge currently can't write mails either as his computer is gone too.
I spoke to him a few minutes ago. He's holding up well. Both Joanika and Borge insist I do not cancel my flight to Los Angeles (I am collecting the award for Borge as he's too old to travel). If any of you attend the Annie Awards, I will see you there. As he has no e-mail right now, and you want to correspond, please feel free to do it the old fashioned way. Write him a letter. I can take them home after the awards. You can also send your letters to my address in Holland. I will make sure he gets them:
